Does the AI decide what to order?
No. It reads what the plan already says. A test reaches a box only through a
mapping table the physician approves, and wording the table doesn't cover waits
for the physician.
Is anything sent automatically?
No. The physician sees every form, its destination and every flag first, and can
edit any field or leave it blank. Forms are signed and sent only after they tap
Approve.
Where does patient information go?
It's stored in Canada, on AWS. The only text sent for AI processing is the redacted
letter, handled in Google Cloud's Montréal region. Requisitions go out by fax from
a dedicated line, and lab requisitions go by email only with the patient's
consent.
Which EMR does it work with?
Plexia, to start. Staff copy the letter out of Plexia and file the signed forms
back in the chart, so there's no integration to set up.
Does it record visits or write notes?
No. It starts from the finished letter. It doesn't record, transcribe or write
clinical notes.
When can my practice use it?
We're building it with one BC respirology practice first. If you'd like to hear
when it's ready for more, get in touch.
